Chamblee First United Methodist Church exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We are a community church in the heart of Chamblee, GA, just inside the perimeter. Our pastor is Rev. Minho Chung. We represent many generations, many races and ethnicities, many backgrounds, many hopes, many dreams, many trials, and many struggles. But we share one Savior, whom we long to be more like every day: Jesus.

At Chamblee First UMC, we affirm that all people are created in the image of God and as beloved children of God. We believe that all people are worthy of God’s unconditional love, grace, and inclusion. We embrace and celebrate the gift of diversity in our church and in our world. We recognize that while we may not all think alike on all issues, we can all Love God, Serve People, and Transform Lives in ministry together. We proclaim this statement of welcome to all who have known the pain of exclusion or discrimination in the church or in society. And we invite all people to fully participate in the life of this community of faith.

“… I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love, so that you, together with all God’s people,
may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ’s love.”
