VBS 2024: registration is now open!
Join us for one of the most exciting weeks of the summer! VBS 2024 will be held June 17-21 from 9am-Noon each day.

Grow Day Camps: Grow Spiritually, Socially, Individually
You can find a day camp for just about anything. What about one focused on forming faith and friendships? Grow Day Camps puts 90+ years of experience into creating an environment for children to grow deeper roots in their faith, in their ability to work as a team, and in their self-confidence as a loved child of God. What to Expect on a Sunday
When you arrive:
If your child will be participating in Children’s Ministry Programming (Kid’s Church or Sunday School), please check them in prior to heading to your SS class or the worship service. We have a check in station in the atrium and a floating volunteer to help check you in and register visitors. Be sure to pick up your Family Code Sticker in the atrium before finding your seat for the worship service. For visitors: Please let one of our greeters know that you are visiting for the first time. They will point you in the right direction!
Our nursery (available for children infant through preschool) has their own check in in room 100.
Sunday School (9:30am-10:30am):
Sunday School for Kindergarteners-5th Graders takes place in room 223 on the second floor of our building. Kids engage in different activities and discussion to gain a further their faith formation using the Celebrate Wonder curriculum. After SS, at 10:30am, ALL KIDS need to be picked up by a parent before heading into the worship service.
Nursery will be available for infant through preschool during the Sunday School hour. You do not need to pick up children between Sunday School and the worship service if you are staying for both.
During the Worship Service (10:45am):
At Chamblee UMC, we ask that families with children Kindergarten-5th grade participate in the first portion of our worship service together. Following our offertory, children K-5th are dismissed for Kid’s Church.
Nursery will be available for infant through preschool during the service. In addition to having the nursery, we also have a soothing room located at the back of the sanctuary in the Narthex with a livestream of the service.
Kid’s Church (11ish-12ish):
After children are dismissed from the service, children K-5th head up to room 223 for a special time just for them! Please pick up children following the conclusion of the worship service.
