Calling All Bakers! Based on the positive feedback from 2020 and 2021, we are planning to conduct another Virtual Bake Sale again this year. We are actively seeking BAKERS to showcase their skills with delicious, homemade goodies. If you are willing to contribute your confections, please email email@example.com by Monday Oct. 31 and let us know what type and how many baked goods you’re willing to make. They should be delivered to the Fellowship Hall by 5:30pm on Wednesday Nov. 16 for buyers to pick up that evening.
Additionally, UMW will host a “Pop-Up Bakery” the evening of Nov. 16. This table will feature lower priced items (small quantities of cookies, brownies, and other treats) for our “Buy-it-Now-Eat-it Now patrons.” Let us know if you are able to contribute baked items for this table, too.
Though the Bake Sale bidding is virtual, the Nov. 16 Wednesday Night Supper is most definitely in person. Plan now to enjoy dinner with your church family and hear from a volunteer with the Elizabeth Foundation, one of the organizations who will receive a portion of our Bake Sale proceeds. Wellroot Family Services (formerly the United Methodist Children’s Home) and the Chamblee Food Ministry will also benefit.
