APOSTLE is a powerful stage adaptation of the Apostle Paul’s story from Acts, woven together with inspiring passages from Paul’s letters.
Best known for his biblical one-man plays performed more than 850 times worldwide, including his lauded The Gospel of John, Sherrill comes out of retirement after nine years for this unforgettable 75-minute performance—complete with original videography filmed in Greece and Turkey by his husband, Mark Hickman. Following the performance, enjoy a celebratory reception in Fellowship Hall. Complimentary nursery and childcare will be provided for infants through elementary-aged children.

“This is more than a homecoming for me. I would not have become a professional actor had I not grown up in this church, as they had a fruitful drama program when I was a child. All of my biblical performances had their premieres in this sanctuary, so it’s only fitting, and a great gift to me, that my final performance, after nine years of retirement, will be the event which jump-starts this wonderful church’s bicentennial.”
