Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent — a time for reflection and preparation for Easter. When receiving the Imposition of Ashes, we take time to remember who we are and embrace hope of who we can be. Chamblee First UMC will host two worship opportunities on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22, open to all:

• 9-9:30 am – a chapel service with the children, families, and staff of Chamblee Methodist Kindergarten
• 6-7 pm – a contemplative service including prayer, music and imposition of ashes as we begin this Holy season
