Lunches of Love

Mark your calendars for June 1, June 29, and July 13! Stay after worship for a pizza lunch and help us pack 200 food bags each day in support of important community outreach efforts.

Bags packed on June 1 and June 29 will be distributed at a local apartment complex through the Read and Rise DeKalb program, reaching participating children and their families. Bags packed on July 13 will be in connection with Mountain Park UMC’s Lunches of Love program.

This initiative not only supports literacy but also helps combat food insecurity during the summer months when many children lose access to school meals. Let’s come together to serve our neighbors and make a meaningful impact—one bag at a time!
