November 7 – November 16

Chamblee United Methodist Women (UMW) are excited to offer our annual Virtual Bake Sale. Proceeds will go to: 1) Shop with a Cop, a program where law enforcement officers are paired with underprivileged children to go on a shopping trip for holiday gifts, 2) a church sponsored bed build for children through Sleep in Heavenly Peace, and 3) Chamblee Coalition on Homelessness, a local organization that collaborates with other groups to provide assistance, such as food and supplies, to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Chamblee area.
Click here to peruse the offerings and sign up to purchase one or more of the goodies. The sale closes on Sunday, Nov. 16. Quantities are limited, but if you want something that has already been reserved, please email UMW@chambleeumc.org and we’ll see what we can do. You can also email the UMW at UMW@chambleeumc.org if you have any questions or if you’d like to donate without a purchase.
Pick-up and payment will be Wednesday, Nov. 19 in the Fellowship Hall between 6 and 7 p.m. There will be a Country Style Wednesday Night Supper starting at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 19 that we hope you will attend. For just $10 per person, you’ll enjoy baked ham, mac & cheese, collard greens, black eyed peas, and cornbread. Country Supper proceeds will be directed to the pastor’s benevolence fund. This fun culminating event will also feature five special baked goods, to be sold auction-style! Click here for Country Supper details and to RSVP.
