A five-week series on the Epistles of Paul to ready everyone for the Oct 5 performance of “Apostle” with Brad Sherrill. These letters to 1st-century churches encompass the earliest articulations of the Christian faith as it spread across the ancient world. We will explore how Paul’s writings have shaped Christian theology over the centuries and consider what we, as the modern church, need to hear desperately.
- September 7: “Grace for All” | Romans 3: 31-28
- September 14: “The Body of Christ” | 1 Corinthians 12: 12-27
- September 21: “Buried & Raised with Christ” | 2 Corinthians 5: 17-21
- September 28: “The Mind of Christ” | Philippians 2: 1-11
- October 5: “One New Humanity” | Ephesians 2: 13-22
