Chamblee First United Methodist Church will be open tomorrow for our regularly scheduled, in-person faith formation classes and worship service. Please familiarize yourself with the details below regarding parking and building access. Additionally, our 10:45 worship service will be live-streamed here and viewable via our Facebook page. We encourage you to use your best judgment regarding road conditions along your route and choose the worship option that best suits your situation. Your safety is our top priority!
Church leaders met today to assess the conditions on campus and treat entryways and parking lots as best as possible. Areas most susceptible to ice and refreezing have been blocked off.
- Enter the building via the back Atrium door, front Narthex doors, or through the side door & ramp nearest Fellowship Hall.
- Passengers can be safely dropped off at the front Narthex entrance.
- There is ample dry parking in the gym lot, in the side lot near the meadow, as well as handicap spaces adjacent to the Atrium entry.
- The parking lot on the nursery side of the building is closed, as are some spaces nearest the building at the Music / Youth entrance.
- Do not enter through the Music Suite / Youth Corner steps or via the Nursery Portico. Both of those doors will be blocked and locked tomorrow.
- Sturdy shoes or boots are encouraged!
