Chamblee Methodist Youth (CMY) strives to be an inclusive space for all students. We welcome young people from grades 6-12 with an open door and open arms into a safe worship space. Youth Happenings
Starting Sunday, April 13th, CMY will begin a new series called “What If…”
In this 4-week series from the New Testament and Prophets, we’ll wonder about what it might look like to be a part of making a difference as we explore questions like what if God wants you to meet someone’s needs, rest, help others heal, or make wrong things right?
We will meet in the youth room (The Corner) from 5:00-7:00pm on these Sundays for this series:
- Sunday, April 13th
- Sunday, April 27th
- Sunday, May 4th
- Sunday, May 18th
This year, CMY will have a normal youth group on Sunday, May 11th (Mother’s Day). However, we invite all mom’s to join us for a chill evening of food, games, and painting at 5:00pm in The Corner.
During our morning worship service on May 18, we will recognize the monumental milestones reached by the Class of 2025. Whether graduating from high school, college, tech school, or earning an advanced degree, please submit names of all graduates to be celebrated. Please complete the form and upload a photo no later than May 9.
CMY will be taking a trip up to Alpharetta for mission project this summer! We will be joining Midway UMC for the week of July 8-13 for a week of hard work, building relationships, meeting people in the community, worshipping, small groups, fellowship, and more! One thing to know is we will be staying at Midway UMC the entire week (Wednesday-Sunday).

Students who have completed 5th grade through 12th grade are invited to serve during an incredible week in June at Chamblee UMC’S Road Trip VBS. Help our kids discover God’s presence in new and exciting places as they make new friends. There are many ways to serve during the best week of the summer; please sign up for the position(s) that best match your capacity to serve.
During this week, CMY will host parties Monday through Thursday from 12:15-1:15 with a big event on Friday at 2:00. Be on the lookout for more information about these parties!
