Celebrating Our Veterans

If you are a veteran or have a special veteran in your life, we celebrate them this week! On Tue, Nov 7, we will host a luncheon for those over 65 to honor our veterans together. Bob Lingle and Bill Callaway will be providing our entertainment. Lunch will begin at 12:30 and consist of chicken salad, pasta salad, and green salad; bread and dessert. Cost is $5/person at the door. Cash please. RSVPs can be sent to lking@chambleeumc.org.

*Note: the country will observe Veterans Day on Friday, Nov 10, and state and federal buildings will be closed for business to honor the holiday, which falls on Saturday, Nov 11.

Thanks to CFUMC volunteers, Branan Towers residents will soon enjoy a beautiful mural in their courtyard. But before it can be installed, a few more tasks must be complete. Join the Missions Team for a complimentary lunch & let’s finish this project! Questions? Contact ramikes96@gmail.com
