Lunches of Love

The Chamblee First Missions Committee is sponsoring a packing event for 250 food bags that will be handed out to people in need by the Mountain Park UMC Lunches of Love ministry. Each bag will contain 8-10 servings of the following types of foods: an entree, fruit, breakfast item, and salty snack. We are asking church members to donate toward these bags. A fuller description of each food item is included in the sign-up slot, but feel free to email missions@chambleeumc.org if you have any questions. If you would like to donate, please indicate on the sign-up what item and quantity you will be donating. There will be bins in the atrium and narthex to collect the food. If you would prefer to make a monetary donation, please email missions@chambleeumc.org.

The bag packing will happen after church on July 17, and everyone is invited to attend. We will also be making 450 turkey sandwiches. Signing up to volunteer on the 17th is encouraged but not required to attend.
