Prayer in Action

On Saturday, March 22nd, we invite you to a day of Prayer In Action. Chamblee will join United Methodists across our district to pray for a day with our hands and feet. Here are three opportunities available through our church and community:

1. Intercessory Prayer Call, 9am
   Join United Methodists from across North Georgia on a zoom call to pray for the needs and concerns of churches, communities, and nations. This time will be led by Rev. Leah Cunningham, leader of our Conference’s PrayerForce Ministry.

2. Prayer Walk in Huntley Hills, 10am
   Join Pastor Blair for a Prayer Walk through our community. We will begin and end at the church. We will walk approximately 2 miles through the Huntley Hills Neighborhood. Wear comfortable shoes. 

3. Rise Against Hunger Meal Packing Event, 1-3pm
   Join us at Kingswood UMC in Dunwoody as we attempt to package thousands of meals and ensure vulnerable children across the globe are sufficiently fed. This event works for volunteers of every age and is an incredible way for multi-generational families to serve together. Please register in advance by clicking here.

A reminder that our sanctuary Prayer and Spiritual Practice stations are open and available Monday through Thursday, 9am – 4pm, and Fridays from 9am – 1pm. A new station will be added each week between now and April 13.
