Summer of Giving: School Supplies

Our neighbor, Huntley Hills Elementary, is a Title 1 School, which means at least 60% of the families enrolled qualify for free or reduced-rate lunch. For the last several years, Chamblee First UMC has provided school supplies to students in need. Supplies are collected, sorted, then delivered to school counselors for distribution to any child who may otherwise go without. Please place donations in the bins located in the church’s breezeway or narthex no later than July 30.

- Regular pencils and color pencils
- Regular composition notebooks (black/white composition notebooks) are a very popular and needed item in the fall)
- Black/White and multi-color dry-erase markers
- Black and multi-colored fine-point sharpies
- Multi-color highlighters
- This list may be updated as supplies are donated and other needs become more pressing.
