Love: The Gift

Created with the recipient in mind … gifts so personal … are priceless.
A peppermint candy man, a handmade doll swing set, and a sparkly beaded pink ornament were Christmas gifts that delighted me as a young child. My mom, dad, and aunt knew me so well that each of these gifts was a perfect fit for me, and all made with love.
This season we often spend our money and time searching for the perfect gift to express our love for the recipient.
Perhaps this is because we know that we have been given the ultimate Gift of God’s love in Jesus who came to us as an infant. He came into the world dependent on his parents, just like us. Such a personal, everlasting Gift that God gives us! We can grow more and more to depend on Him. He is present in every age and stage of our lives.
